New Home in VA

Small  update, and plan more frequent maintenance updates.

Moved to Virginia, and brought the car along with me, as it's intended purpose is to be a AWD-Snow Beater. So far I've put just a bit over 5k miles since I've bought the car. Most of the miles in Miami, FL. Had the car towed behind my moving truck as the reliability of driving 1k straight miles was a bit questionable. However since up here in the cold weather, the car has been driving great.

And is it fun to drive on the snow!!! - Open parking lot with snow = Fun power sliding.

Besides that. The car is serving it's purpose. Keeping my GSX/Cruze out of snow/salt.

Will be working on the cosmetics in the near future.

Maintenance - 11/22/15

Maintenance at 155,733 miles.

Oil Change 5W30 Mobil-1 Synthetic
Oil Filter Change Mobil-1  (M1108)
Rear Differential Fluid Change: Valvoline Synthetic Gear Oil 75W-90 ( Limited Slip )

Under the car, more towards the engine bay was a covered mess in dry oil cooking itself up near the exhaust. I proceeded to degrease it all with brake fluid. Also degreased the engine bay and cleaned it up a bit.

The only issue I ran into with the oil change is the bolt was almost impossible to take off. Whoever previously did the oil change must have tightened it with an impact gun. Same goes for the rear differential.

In two weeks, I will be changing the transmission, and front differential fluid as well. Will proceed to swap it all out again after 6k of driving the car afterwards, and then 15k miles on every other change.

Next set of things to do are the following:
-Fix exhaust leak
-Try to resolve torque binding issue ( all though it has improved as I've been driving it )
-Timing belt

I also did my first Fuelly run on my Legacy and was not impressed with my total MPG this fill up.

Needless to say, this might be a direct result with the Torque Binding issue I am experiencing.
Torque Binding may be caused by:
-Old Tranny Fluid
-Miss-matching tire brand between the front and the back
-Or something more series in the internals of the transmission

Will be switching the card into FWD mode tomorrow morning, and take it to work. Will see if the car responds better. I will need to get 4 matching tires however regardless as I've heard this is bad for a AWD system.

Clean up

Decided to spend the day cleaning the car inside out. The car had a terrible smell of old car. Since it will be a bit before the car is driving on the road, I figured I'd start off with the interior.
